  • Paysafe has entered a new partnership with Dublin-based Shelbourne FC, extending its presence in Irish football. The agreement centres on brand visibility, with Paysafe gaining exposure through the club's matchday environment, media platforms and fan engagement channels.
  • The partnership will provide season-long exposure through stadium activations, broadcast coverage, social media content and club communications. Paysafe will also have opportunities to engage with Shelbourne's supporters and business partners, strengthening its visibility among consumers and businesses in Ireland and other European markets.
  • Both organisations are exploring further collaboration around payments and fan experiences, drawing on Paysafe's expertise in secure transactions. Specific payment processing integrations have yet to be announced, making this primarily a branding partnership at this stage.
  • “Football has a unique ability to bring together communities, businesses and fans at scale, and Shelbourne FC offers an exciting opportunity to elevate the Paysafe brand while supporting a club with a proud history and ambitious future,” said Richard Swales, Executive Officer at Paysafe.
  • Tomás Quinn, CEO at Shelbourne FC, welcomed the agreement, highlighting the alignment between Paysafe's focus on innovation and customer experience and the club's growth ambitions. The announcement follows Paysafe's three-year partnership with Drogheda United FC, announced on 19 October, which includes front-of-shirt sponsorship and the implementation of acquiring, Virtual Terminal and Pay by Link services.
