Deel joins Golden State as its HR platform powers four teams and an arena
Deel has signed a multi-year partnership with Golden State, becoming its Official HR Platform Partner while providing the technology behind workforce operations across three basketball teams and Chase Center.
Type: Distribution, HR and payroll infrastructure
Sport: Basketball / NBA and WNBA
Announced: October 2026
- Deel will provide its HR platform to centralise workforce management across the Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries, Santa Cruz Warriors and Chase Center. The system brings together hiring, onboarding, payroll and compliance across an organisation with different employment requirements and operations.
- The agreement combines a technology deployment with a commercial sports partnership. Deel will receive in-arena branding on the baseline sideline apron at Chase Center, alongside visibility across team and arena marketing channels throughout the 2026–27 season.

- The partnership will also include fan and business engagement initiatives at Chase Center. To mark the announcement, Deel plans to donate tickets for the Warriors’ opening night to small businesses across the Bay Area, recognising the teams behind local businesses and reflecting its focus on supporting workforces.
- “We’re excited to partner with Deel across our teams and Chase Center. Their technology will help us bring our employee operations together, while the partnership creates opportunities to connect with fans, local businesses and community groups throughout the season,” said Nicole Barbour, SVP, Global Partnership Development at Golden State.
- Deel co-founder and CEO Alex Bouaziz linked the partnership to the operational demands of elite sports, pointing to the systems required to manage hiring, payroll, benefits and equity as organisations scale. Deel says its platform supports more than 40,000 companies across 150-plus countries.
