The World Series of Poker began accepting crypto payments through MoonPay Commerce, making WSOP one of the highest-profile competitive events to formally integrate crypto into its payment infrastructure.
- Poker and crypto share more audience overlap than almost any other sport-finance pairing and MoonPay has found the natural fit. WSOP players are already comfortable with high-stakes digital transactions - removing the friction between their crypto holdings and their buy-ins is a product play that makes itself.
